On the dorslim of hand, in the interval between the first and second metacarpal bones, with the given 1st finger-on top of the formed elevation, closer to the 2nd metacarpal bone.

Functions

Regulates Qi and blood, expels the disease-producing factor wind and cold, clears and discharges lung heat, quiets the spirit.

Indications

- Channel diseases: pain in the hand, numb feeling in the hand and forearm, motor disorders of upper limbs, dupuytren's contracture.
- 5 holes diseases: bleeding, rhinitis, sinusitis, headache, sore throat, angina, toothache, gums bleeding, voice loss, pain in the frontal and facial parts, facial paralysis, dizziness, swelling and redness of the eyes with pain.
- Respiratory system: the incipience of superficial syndrome, cold fit, cough, difficult expectoration of sputum.
- Digestive system: stomachache of various origins, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal distension.
- Channel diseases: hyperemia and swelling of dorslim of hand and fingers.
- Reproductive system: hypolactation, mammary gland following suppurative mastitis, difficulty detachment placenta, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea.
- Heart disease: heart pain, weak pulse.
- Disorders of the mind: convulsions, apoplexy, collapse, neurasthenia, psychosis.
- Features: it is used to restore the circulation of qi and blood in the yang ming meridians, accumulation of heat in the body, furunculosis, acne, erysipelas (Yang etiology), the water exchange regulation.

Needling Method

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 - 1 cun; puncture perpendicularly toward Lao Gong point PC.8 or to Hou Xi point SI.3. Cauterization. It is contraindicated during pregnancy.
